I made this afghan (from LusterSheen and a size 0 steel hook) as my entry for the big Annie’s Attic afghan contest held back in the mid 90’s. It did not win, but they purchased the design and have published it several times, first in the old Afghan Collector Series and then as a kit.
Oh, and the afghan that did win the contest is the famous
“Cathederal Rose Window Afghan” by Julene Watson.
