This cardigan is knitted from the top down. Using a modified raglan construction.

A small neck-edging is worked in rib at the end.

The cardigan is designed to have between 10 and 18 cm/ 4 and 7 inches of ease. That means the sweater is between 10 and 18 cm/ 4 and 7 inches, larger than your chest measurement.

Finished Chest measurement: when fronts are overlapped: 90 ( 99, 110, 119, 128, 139, 150, 161, 170) cm / 35.5 (39, 43.25, 46.75, 50.5, 54.75, 59, 63.5, 67 ) inches.

Materials:

Yarn: wool or wool and mohair held together.
I used : LaBienAimee Corrie Worsted, 75 % Falkland Corriedale and 25% Gotland Wool, 230 m/ 252 yds pr. 100 g, color: French Grey ;
1092(1186, 1290, 1402, 1524, 1656, 1838, 2040, 2265 )m/1194 (1297, 1411, 1533, 1667, 1811, 2010, 2231, 2477) yds.

Needles: The needle size you need to get gauge!

I used: 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle: 60 cm / 24 inches, 80 cm/ 32 inches, and 100 cm/ 42 inches.

You may want dpns or a long circular needle to work magic loop for the sleeves and the cuffs.

Other materials:

• 1 button - 3 cm/1.25 inches
• 6 Markers, 2 different from the rest to mark the diagram beginning and end.
• 2 wires or 2 pieces of yarn to put the sleeve stitches on hold.
• Cable needle

DANISH:

Cardiganen strikkes oppefra og ned, med raglan ærmer.
