Create your own winter cheer by knitting a cuddly, floral inspired,
cropped sweater in decadently soft, fluffy yarn. The interblomma Pullover combines eyelet details that resemble flower petals with light, lofty Wonderfluff and Wonderfluff Ombré. The bulky-weight yarn knits up in a flash, but its blown-spun construction keeps the sweater feeling light but warm. Despite being a bulky sweater, the eyelet details look surprisingly delicate.

Designed to progress through Wonderfluff Ombré’s color transition before dividing the yoke, the Vinterblomma Pullover is worked from the top down, starting with a foldover neckband that helps speed up the color transition by being double layered. Short row shaping after the neckband helps raise the back neck, and then the yoke is worked in the round with an eyelet petal detail that adds interest and incorporates the majority of the increases. Towards the end of the yoke, the regular Wonderfluff is added in and used throughout the remainder of the sweater. The yoke gets divided, with the sleeves put on hold, and the body is knit down with waist shaping just before the deep ribbing. Once the body is complete, stitches are removed from hold and additional stitches are picked up to knit the sleeves down with shaping.

For sizes with 34” and 37.75” chests, to be sure that the ombré color transition is completed before dividing for the body, pull yarn from the contrast end of the ball until hints of the main color are visible. Cut the yarn and use the solid colored excess for a small fluffy pompom to attach to another project. The
recommended yardage accounts for discarded yarn in these sizes.
