The cowl is made in rounds, sl st to join each round. In each round the first ch counts as a stitch (sc, hdc, or dc). First you make a long chain and sl st together to form a ring. To make your cowl bigger, just add more chains but keep it in a multiple of 2. So, if you have thinner yarn you can easily adjust the pattern by adding more chains. To make it higher, simply add more rounds. Instructions in the pattern.

Materials used

For the pink cowl I used used Rödel super big color (53% wool, 47% polycyclic). But other chunky yarn can be used too. I would recommend this yarn as a substitute: Big Color from Schachenmayr
For the grey cowl I used lana-grossa-cloud and I absolutely loved it. So incredible soft!
100 g = 100 m / 3.5 oz =39 inches
You need about 120 g/4.2 oz for 1 cowl for the pink on and fro the grey one you need about 2 balls of the Lana Grossa Cloud
Clover Crochet Hook, Size N/P/10.0mm
For the grey one I used a size 7.0 mm.
