Like Opal, my Virginia dishcloth pattern shows how a well-chosen cable can create an elegant dishcloth. Imagine how pretty a group of these would look hanging from hooks on your kitchen wall, knitted in several of your favorite colors … or imagine alternating squares of Virginia and Opal in a gorgeous wool afghan.

Materials
Knit Picks Dishie 100% cotton; 190 yds/174m per 100g
ball

Color: Silver

US #7/4.5mm needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Yarn needle
Row counter or stitch markers (optional)

Side note: If you want the tighter version, the one in the picture, then you will need to purl into the back of the YO’s on the WS rows. Otherwise you get a beautiful Openwork look that flanks the leaves.
