This swingy cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece. The yoke involves classic raglan shaping for the sleeves, and radial eyelet increases for the back. The rounded front edges are shaped with more eyelet increases, as well as short rows. The pattern includes detailed instructions for the short rows; otherwise only very basic skills are required. Suitable for a knitter with some experience.
Select a yarn with a recommended gauge of 24-26 sts / 10 cm, that drapes well after blocking.
For additional clarity, A-2 means A “minus” 2.
So, if A=3, then A-2=1. If A=4, then A-2=2, and so on…
Yarn requirements:
XS (S, M1, M2) L, XL, XXL
1020 (1100, 1200, 1300) 1450, 1550, 1700 m
1100 (1200, 1300, 1400) 1570, 1680, 1850 yds
