“Vite fait, Bien fait” is a popular French expression to designate something done quickly, but still done well. I thought this was an appropriate name for this cowl, done very rapidly using huge needles and super-bulky yarn, resulting in an interesting piece.

This pattern is very easy, with only 2 rows of a combination of knit and purl stitches and is suitable for beginners.

This cowl is knitted flat, using a mistake rib pattern. The edges are sewn together in a staggered manner. Each side gives a different look, and this cowl can be worn either side out.
