Vola was inspired by a sweater that Sydney wore to the store one day. It was made by her Great-Great Grandmother and has been worn and passed down in her family for 3 genera@ons. We thought it was simply fabulous and wanted to re-create it as a tribute to her Great-Great Gran, with some modern adapta@ons. Vola is knit from the boFom up in two pieces for the split hem and then joined to work in the round to the arms. The front and back are then worked separately. S@tches are cast on at each side on both front and back to create the sleeves. Shoulders are seamed with a three needle bind off. Under arms are seamed together with a tapestry needle.
