Inspired by the Volkswagen Campervan, the Campervan Tea Cosy is a super cute tea cosy that oozes vintage charm. The Volkswagen Campervan tea cosy is the perfect tea cosy for the summer months and puts you in the holiday mood.

This design is based on a split window Volkswagen Campervan, with the bit ‘V’ shape lunging down the centre front. It has knitted headlights and indicators and the suggestion of the Volkswagen emblem on the front. I love that it looks as if it has a face.

The top of the campervan tea cosy is very ‘boxy’ like the the campervan itself. I wanted to give the design a 3D look to it.

At the back it has a long window and two tail lights. There is a silver bumper at the front and back and of course, four wheels.

The campervan tea cosy is knitted in two main parts. The main part of the cosy is the coloured part that could be any colour and then the cream roof that is knitted separately and sew on. Then the other camper furnishings are knitted separately and sewn into place.

The VW Campervan Tea Cosy is vintage and lovely. It goes to show you that the classics are the best.
