Von / Hope is a seamless yoke sweater, knit in the round from bottom up. It is design for a rather fitted sweater that remains fairly traditional in shape, with the exception of a few short rows that I added to lift the back and lower the front, creating a more natural neckline. The sweater body is worked in the round in one piece. The sleeves are also worked in the round with increases. A few stitches are put on yarn holder for the underarm and later stitched together using Kitchener stitch. Body and sleeves are then joined together and the pattern is worked evenly around in the yoke.

The yarn is called Plötulopi and it is an unspun lopi. It comes in plates or cakes of one single strand. The sweater is knitted with two strands of unspun lopi in different colors to add more texture to the design.
The total length of the yarn considers the use of two strands.
