A scarf worthy of Vrouw Holle, lady of life, death, spinning and the weather.

In this scarf you can find snow, lilies, butterflies, loveknots, vines, rose leaves and more. Use worsted weight for a dense, warm scarf, or fingering weight for a lacey version.

This scarf is a great way to familiarize yourself with some techniques like knitting nupps, cables, twisted stitches, lace and kitchener stitch, while still staying manageable in size and time commitment.

The pink scarf in the pictures is made in worsted weight yarn, and is a bit more dense fabricwise than the blue one, which is knit in a sport weight yarn.

Both charted and written out instructions are provided in English and Dutch.

If you have more than enough yarn, you could make the scarf longer by adding more repeats to your favourite section.

I plan on extending the pattern to a lace/fingering weight version at some point. If you buy this pattern, you will also get that update later on.
