About the pattern: This little bird was first designed to hold my eye glasses at night. She would also be cute as a penguin.
My husband put his remote in her wings and phone in the other. Brilliant!
I hope she will come in handy at your house too.

Materials and Details
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Turqua for top of bird (100 yards), Grape Fizz for bottom of bird and wings (200 yards), Small amounts of Bright Yellow, White.

Crochet Hooks: G (4.25mm), H (5mm)

Miscellaneous Supplies: Yarn needle, Sewing needle and thread, 2 small black buttons, small amount of stuffing for nose, toggle button or similar item to reinforce beak (see beak instructions)
Optional for pillow version: Something to weight the base, such as unpopped popcorn (approximately 2 cups), aquarium glass rocks, uncoocked rice.

Optional for container version: Container to fit inside.

Finished Measurements (stuffed): 9” tall x 7” wide; base: 5.25” long x 2” wide
