Interlocking Crochet isn’t a new concept. It is quite old already. It is also known as Double Filet, or Intermesh Crochet.

Simple interlocking patterns create blocks that look the same on both sides. Intricate patterns, create blocks that have two unique sides.

Wacky Weave Square has mostly intricate blocks.

There are 12 square patterns. Each one is to be used three times, resulting in 36 squares altogether. Joined 6x6, you have an afghan. Joined 4x9, you have a throw or a shawl.
