Wadi Shawl is a good pattern for beginners who want to move on to more difficult patterns or the more advanced knitter who is looking for a mindless project to take along or for your TV evening knitting.

The simple slip stitch pattern is easy to remember and the garter stitch sections are perfect for mindless knitting. You can either knit the shawl in two colours or in one. The tassels add a nice touch, but if you don’t like them, just wear the shawl without.

Finished and blocked shawl is app 66 inch (167cm) long, however sizes may vary depending on blocking and the yarn used.
Fingering weight yarn is suggested, but a DK yarn version will work too, if you perfer a thicker and much bigger shawl.

Yarn in one colour shawl in photos is Hedghehog Fibres Sock Yarn.
The two colour shawl was knit in Madelinetosh Tosh Sock and Anzula Nebula. Colour A Yardage(Madelinetosh) = 490 yds and Colour B Yardage (Anzula)= 376yds
