WAFFLE is a warm, cozy, unisex winter snood/cowl, rich of texture, fun and fast to knit. It is knitted using a combination of techniques, flat and in the round, from the bottom up. You have charts, a “stitch by stitch” written instruction in English and some links to important video tutorials.

You need : 
  1. Skills: intermediate knitting knowledge, knitting in the round;
  2. Needles:
    • 24” (60cm) or 32” (80cm) circular needle in US 7/4.5mm;
    • cable needle;
    • tapestry needle or hook for weaving in ends;
  3. Yarn: Shown snood is made from 8 balls (400gr in total) Everyshine Merino wool (95% wool) fingering yarn (50gr/195m) in chocolate brown, double stranded in worsted yarn 100gr/195m. You can use any well-twisted worsted yarn in a color you like (the gauge isn’t relevant for this project);
  4. One stitch marker.

Dimensions (flat, fixed):

  • circumference (unstretched) – 76cm/30,4”
  • length (measured washed, lying flat) - 48cm/19,2” Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4x4”/10cm in stockinette stitch on US7/4.5mm needles.
