A HUGE thank you to my testers, dmbonner, gtcmom, grannibarb, craftynanalady, Miaiwa, Emalahowski, dakotastamper, jojo99, and madaboutpooh. They were willing to blindly test this in secret, and it wouldn’t be half as nice without their help.

Thank you to the 2015 Crochet Block-A-Month CAL for asking me to design November’s main block. When I received the invitation to design for the group I was elated! Through the whole of my morning break I had Walking on Sunshine playing in my head, thus the inspiration for this block.

I joined their group back in 2012 and their support and encouragement for everyone is fantastic. Before joining, I’d always thought that patterns were written by employees of big publishing houses who had bachelors degrees in design. Thanks to the encouragement of the group I went on to design my first pattern, and with their continued support kept trying crazy ideas.

With this pattern two of my big design goals have now been met. My other big achievement happened in 2014 when Tributary was chosen as the September Filler.
