WANDERING – stitches, thoughts, colours. This simple, single loop cowl has been designed to highlight the beauty and character of hand dyed and hand spun yarns. Rib, garter, and linen stitches allow the unique personality of your chosen skein to shine, while also keeping the work interesting for you. Wandering uses just one 100g skein (or 50g for the mini size), making it the perfect choice for that special-but-lonely hank of sock or DK weight yarn you have sitting in your stash.

** PATTERN HAS INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOTH FINGERING/4PLY AND DK WEIGHT YARNS.**

Other things to know:

  • gauge isn’t important for this pattern; your yarn selection and and your personal tension will not have a major impact on the finished size of your piece
  • this pattern is designed to use up half-skeins and whole single skeins; if you have slightly less than 100g (or 50g for the mini size), you can still get a good size cowl from your leftover yarn
  • suits any type of yarn, but works best with a yarn that has some elastic properties, such as wool and wool blends

Thank you for continuing to support Boris + Stasha Design. I hope you love this pattern as much as I do!
