This shawl has V shaping in the back, which makes it very easy to wear. It will just stay on your shoulders, without the means of any kind of attachment.

I used Knit Picks Chroma Fingering Weight, 2 balls of Autumn, a self-striping yarn, and 2 balls of Brown, a solid colored yarn. I think that best plays up the stitch design. You could make it with a solid color.

Pictured is the longer shawl, which comes to below the knee. I have also provided instructions, but not a picture, for a shorter shawl, that comes to the hip. The back and the width is the same for both. The longer shawl uses 700 yards each of 2 different colors of fingering weight yarn. The shorter version will need 500 yards each of 2 different colors of yarn.

The pattern contains written and charted instructions.
