Skill level: Intermediate/Advanced

Wanderlust is a gorgeous heart-shaped sampler shawl. Choose two or more colors of fingering weight and take your knitting on an exciting voyage of texture while you work six different stitch patterns. The sixth and final stitch pattern is a “choose your own adventure”, and can be worked in either two-color brioche or two-row garter stitch stripes.

Wanderlust sits beautifully on the shoulders, whether worn with the point in the back, front, or over the shoulder line.

Construction Details
Wanderlust is worked seamlessly from the top center of the shawl towards the bottom/outer edge, using closed eyelet increasing for shaping. There are six stripes of different pattern stitches and the shawl is bound off with a picot edge. Stitch patterns include garter stitch, slip stitch honeycomb, eyelet stripes, lace, two-color brioche (with an option for garter instead), and a picot edging. A chart is provided for the lace section.
