Sizes: Small – Approximately 48” wide, 22” deep (Large – Approximately 56” wide, 26” deep). Sample shown in size Large.

This shawlette has a garter stitch body bordered with roses and a knitted on leafy edging. It is not a difficult pattern, but some basic lace experience is helpful.

Note that on the rows after working a double yarn over, you will need to knit one yarn over and purl the other in order to maintain two stitches!

If you are not accustomed to reading charts, note that you will be working from the row number across, alternating reading left to right and right to left!

Errata: If you have the very earliest version of the pattern, there are two blocks of text labeled for the large size. The first block should be labeled for the small size. Also, for both sizes, in this same text block, you should repeat rows 2 and 3 four more times, not three. Sorry for the inconvenience!
