If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using light worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders. The patch pockets are optional as they are placed on last.

Both cables are both charted and written out line by line, and there is a schematic to help you place the pockets

The focal cable comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney and the border cable is a Japanese stitch.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.

The yarn used in the sample is Handmaiden’s Organic Chinook yarn. This pattern was expertly tested by Kelleigh Bland, who can be reached at: kelleighz@outlook.com

The pattern is for sale here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Warm Pocket Shawl Section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=...)
