This is a pattern for a double cabled stole. The focal cable is an unusual one that is rarely seen, and is complimented by the traditional Aran Honeycomb stitch. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for a wide scarf, (10 inches wide), and a large shawl (24 1/2 inches wide) giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.
This stole is knitted with light worsted weight, and is approximately 15 1/2 inches x 74 inches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 800 - 1000 yards.
The stitches are charted only.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
