This is pattern for warm leggings with a cable at the side.

List of measurements needed to make this leggings with cable
• Widest hip circumference. If you have measured this size take 10% of the number. So if your hip circumference is 100 cm, take of 10%, and you use 90 cm as number. The leggings need to have negative ease. Check by size which size you have to make, with the new (10% less) number.
• The length of your inner leg. If your leg length is a bit different than the leg length belonging to your size you can make the cuff a bit longer or shorter. I there is a big difference, you can recalculate the decrease pattern. If you have problems with the recalculating you can send me a message and I will help you.

Finished hip measurements (10 % negative ease): 84/92 - 96/104 - 108/114 -118/124 cm / 33”/36” - 37½“/41” - 42½”/45” - 46½“/48 ¾”
Inner leg length: 70-72-74-76 cm / 28”-28 ¾“-29½”-30½“

LEGGINGS
The leggings are worked top down in the round on circular needles. They have a lovely cable at the side.

GAUGE
The gauge needed is 20 st by 26 rows for 4 inch/10 cm square. Preferable use 4mm needles. The fabric needs to be dense, but not stiff. I used Drops Lima, a 65% wool 35% alpaca blend, it is soft against the skin. But another DK weight could work too, if it is soft enough.
