This shawl pattern is designed using two very unusual stitches: a highly textured and more traditional cable stitch, that is teamed with a more geometric, and very unusual cable. If you enjoy cabling, you’ll enjoy making this shawl.

The shawl is made using worsted weight yarn, and hence is quite warm, making it perfect for a cool spring night or get an early start for fall. The patch pockets insure that your shawl stays on your shoulders.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

Both stitches are charted and written out line by line.

This pattern was expertly test knitted Joy Macpherson who can contacted at: Joy.Macpherson@ gmail.com.. The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, undyed.
