Knitting a scarf that illustrates the rate of global warming is an excellent way to get the climate emergency message across.

These scarves track the rise in global temperatures over the last 140 years, showing how that rise has accelerated in recent years.

Instructions are included for two scarves, using the same fifteen colours or you can use my pattern as a guide to designing your own scarf.

Warmer World Scarves are great fun to knit; as you knit each year your mind dwells on things that happened that year so that the whole process becomes very thoughtful and relaxing.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
