An engaging knit, designed for the worst days of the winter. An all-over colorwork design with the option of a separately worked lining provides three layers of yarn for maximum warmth. The sunny design and spring-inspired colorway provide cheer for the dullest of days.

The fingering-weight yarn means that even with three layers, the mitten isn’t bulky. Note that the stranding is a little more challenging than for the other colorwork designs in the book, as there are a few pattern rows with longer stretches of one color before changing to another.

This is the only full mitten design in the book with a fixed hand length—that’s just the nature of these sorts of colorwork patterns.
