This cozy slipover is the ultimate luxury layer!

A timeless transitional piece, and perfect when you need that extra layer of warmth, it’s a quick project you’ll be wearing in no time. I have been wearing this regularly and it has become such an essential piece of my wardrobe, I seriously wonder why it took me so long to make one.

Knit with large needles and bulky yarn, the slip over design gently hugs the body, but the sides are left open, allowing for additional airflow… some sweaters get TOO hot.

The easy cable pattern repeat is perfect for those TV watching times, and the braided ties bring a bit of boho to the sides and allow for a customized fit. Of course you can seam the sides if that’s your thing.
It got the name for the resemblance to chainmail and armor, and it should be a reminder that YOU are FEARLESS!

Needles: US 15 (10 mm) 16”, US 17 (12 mm or 12.75 mm which will result in a slightly larger garment) 16” circular needles.

Super Bulky Yarn: Cascade Magnum, Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool, We Are Knitters The Wool, Cascade Spuntaneous, Lion Brand Fifty Fifty, Katia Love Wool, MillaMia Naturally Soft Super Chunky, Knit Picks Tuff Puff, Mayflower Molly, Drops Polaris or similar yarn that comes close to gauge.
