I designed these top-down socks to show off Prism Saki’s Oklahoma colorway which is available exclusively at Gourmet Yarn Co. in Oklahoma City - my LYS. However, the pattern is suitable for any highly variegated yarn as the intention is to break up the colors with slipped, then cabled stitches. Instructions are given for cabling with or without a cable needle. The main pattern is in chart form only and is a short 4 row repeat that is easily memorized. Please note that while the intention of the pattern is to prevent pooling or flashing, this is not guaranteed.

Skills and stitches used: knit, purl, decreases, slipped stitches, cabling, and kitchener stitch. You will need to have an understanding of sock construction as the pattern is not intended for beginner sock knitters.
