This was a project I designed for people just learning how to knit on double pointed needles. You can also learn the decreases used for a sock toe with this pattern, but won’t have to do anything tricky like a heel yet.

I use this in the summer at parties for beer, juice, or water to distinguish my bottle from all others :)

You could also use this pattern for a tube sock if you knit it longer, but I haven’t tried that yet.
