An easy project even for the beginner to complete. The bulky Tweed Stripes yarn by Lion Brand (Colorway:Lakeside) was used in this sample. It is a beautiful soft self-striping medley of colors.

The colors reminded me of Monet’s Giverny gardens and water lilies, hence, the name.

The pattern creates a beautifully textured fabric with alternating rows of DC’s and quasi-puff stitches that pop out on one side.

The scarf’s textured stitches will stand out much more in a solid light-colored yarn.

Skill level: Easy

Stitches required: DC, SC, chain, Slip stitch

I used a 7.0 mm hook to create a beautiful looser drape on the scarf, however, a 6.5mm hook can also be used with a medium worsted weight yarn.

Thank you for choosing this pattern.
