Waterfall socks are worked from the cuff down, they’re both the same (they differ in the direction of crossing the stitches of the cables, as indicated in the symbols).
MATERIALS:
Yarn: 2 skeins of Drops Nord Uni colour sock yarn (45% Alpaca, 25% wool, 30% polyamide, 170 m 186 yds / 50 g) were used to knit socks. You can use any sock yarn with a yarn length of 350 – 420 m 380 – 460 yds / 100 g.
Needles: size 2.5 mm / US 1½ circular needles, at least 80 cm / 32” long (or suitable size to obtain the gauge). These socks are knitted using the “magic loop” method, however, you can use double pointed needles if you prefer. Just be aware that the instructions refer to Needle 1 and Needle 2 (meaning
approximately half of the total stitch count).
Other: stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle, row counter.
Gauge: 28 stitches and 39 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette Stitch, measured after blocking. Take time to knit a swatch, as the correct gauge is essential for
well-fitting socks.
Sizes: small S / medium M / large L, which is equivalent of 68 / 72 / 76 stitches.

Носки «Водопад» вяжутся от манжеты, оба одинаковые (отличаются направлением скрещивания петель кос, что указано в условных обозначениях).

Спицы: круговые 2,25 – 2,5 мм, с длиной лески не менее 80 см. Инструкция написана для круговых спиц (метод magic loop), но можно вязать и чулочными спицами. Просто имейте в виду, что в описании указаны спицы 1 и 2 (на каждой находится примерно половина общего числа петель).
Другое: маркеры для вязания, дополнительные спицы для вязания кос, игла для сшивания петель мыска, счетчик рядов.
ПЛОТНОСТЬ:
28 петель х 39 рядов = 10 х 10 см при вязании лицевой глади.
РАЗМЕРЫ:
маленькие S / средние M / большие L, что соответствует 68 / 72 / 76 петлям набора.
