The shawl is knitted around and steeked. The water lily motifs are knitted in an intarsia technique, which allows you to knit around. In short, it means that in every other round, you calculate the length of the yarn to be used for the motif, which makes it possible to knit from the “wrong” side.
The shawl is knitted in Blackhill Højlandsuld. I have chosen to knit the background in 4 different shades of blue, the water lilies in white and yellow, but there are many options to choose your own favorite colors - and choose more or fewer colors.
