CONSTRUCTIONS NOTES
The foundation i-cord is created with the larger needles and Wool And The Gang Mixtape yarn. Stitches are then picked up along the i-cord and short rows worked to create the wedges of the main necklace piece. The necklace is finished with either a plain i-cord cast off or a fun bobble cast off.

YARN DETAILS
Foundation i-cord: 15g of Mixtape Yarn in Jog Grey
Main Necklace: 25g in total of yarn at an aran weight thickness (see below)

Pink/Orange/Burgundy sample used 4 “colours/yarns” with strands held together at approximately an aran weight thickness as follows below:
Yarn A (pink top wide stripe – approx. 4m / 4 g in total): 2 strands of 4ply/fingering-weight held together with 1 strand of lace-weight
Yarn B (blue between wide stripes & i-cord edging – approx. 13m / 9g in total): 1 strand of DK held together with 1 strand of 4ply/fingering-weight
Yarn C (orange middle wide stripe – approx. 7m / 6g in total):1 strand of sport-weight held together with 1 strand of 4ply/fingering-weight & 1 strand of lace-weight
Yarn D (burgundy bottom wide stripe – approx. 9m / 6g in total): 2 strands of 4ply/fingering-weight held together with 1 strand of lace-weight

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
8 mm / US 11 straight or circular needle (any length) for foundation i-cord
5 mm / US 8 straight or circular needle (any length) One lockable stitch marker or safety pin
Scissors
Clasp (optional - one featured is from Wool And The Gang)
Small screwdriver to attach clasp (optional)
Embellishments (optional - interesting buttons, patches or hand embroidery)
