Watkins is a quick to knit hat sized for everyone in the family. The knitted braid offers a firm but stretchy brim and keeps the knitting interesting. This is a great hat for beginners wanting a new challenge and experienced knitters needing a “quick fix” project.

MATERIALS
Yarn: bulky weight yarn

  • Main Color (MC): 60 (65, 75, 90, 110) yd / 55 (60, 70, 85, 100) m (includes enough for pom-pom)
  • Contrast Color (CC): 11 yd / 10 m

Needles:
US 9 / 5.5 mm

  • 16 in / 40 cm circular

US 10.5 / 6.5 mm

  • 16 in / 40 cm circular
  • Double point needles

Notions: 1 stitch marker, 2.5 in / 6.5 cm pom-pom maker (optional), and tapestry needle for weaving ends.
