WAVE BEANIE

This hat is knit on circular or DPNs with 2 strands of yarn held together. The design is simple, but more complex than a generic stockinette or rib pattern. The result is an elongated broken rib stitch, and the knits and purls switch every five rows. The effect looks like a wavy, narrow cable.
