CONSTRUCTION: top-down sweater with crop or full body length mods, no seaming.

SKILLS: 2-color stranded colorwork, yoke increases, sleeve decreasing, German short rows, pick-up stitches, knitting in the round.

NEEDLES: US 6/4.0 mm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

· Choose circular needle length according to chest circumference.

· Use two sizes smaller needles for neck collar for more crew neckline than boat neckline.

NOTIONS: stitch markers, tapestry needle, measuring tape, gauge ruler if needed

GAUGE: 22 sts & 26 rows/rounds per 4”/10 cm (in 1x1 colorwork pattern, *MCk1, CCk1*, in the round, or stockinette stitch, after blocking)

YARN: DK weight

Samples knit in: Serendipitous Wool “Agni”, 4 ply DK weight, 100% Superwash Merino, 231 yd/211 m per 100g

Yardage is based on schematic measurements. Adding/reducing length to body and sleeves will change yardage usage.
