This is the cover project on the dust jacket of The Complete Step-by-Step Knitting Book by Eleanor Van Zandt (Reed International, Godalming, 1990). It’s a drop-sleeve, cabled, striped, aran jumper with rolled collar and ribbed cuffs and hem. Apart from the neck shaping, the back and front are rectangular, with no armhole shaping. The collar is knitted in straight rib, then folded to the inside and stitched down.
