I grew up in a small ranch town on the Big Island of Hawaii. The nearest movie theater was an hour away whereas some of the nicest beaches on the planet were half that. So, you can probably guess where I chose to spend my time.

Waves on the Sand is a cowl designed to keep you warm and stylish while braving the winter winds. It can be worn with the textured stitch on top for warmth or the lace on top for breathability. It is written in one size with instructions on how to adjust it to fit to your liking.

This cowl pairs nicely with the Twisted Sand Mitts and the Triple Swell Hat as you may have noticed in the last picture. Keep your eyes on the horizon for more patterns in this collection.

I hope you enjoy knitting this cowl as much as I enjoyed designing it and that it will keep your neck warm while you dream of walking on tropical sandy beaches with waves crashing at your feet.
