This design uses two coordinating wave patterns. The sleeves and yoke, which are formed by two shaped rectangles, are worked first. A small seam joins them at center front. Stitches are picked up and worked circularly to the lower edge. The pattern stitches create self-scalloping lower and neckline edges while the weight of the sleeves gives shape to the v-neck. Garter stitch finishes all exposed edges. Optional: contrasting satin ribbon is woven through the body eyelets, then tied, to accent the lower wave pattern.
