NOTES: - Chain 5 at start of each pattern row equals first trtr. - Shells are 5 trtr stitches. The pattern is worked in a 17 stitch repeat.
SPECIAL STITCHES: Triple Treble (trtr): Wrap yarn around hook 3 times insert hook into stitch and wrap yarn and pull through 4 times.
Foundation Double Crochet (fdc): Chain 3, wrap yarn around hook once, insert into required stitch & pull through one loop, wrap yarn around hook and pull through 1 stitch on hook, wrap again and pull through 2 loops and finish with wrapping once again and pull through last 2 loops on hook. Next Stitch: wrap yarn around hook once insert into the top of the previous stitch and pull through 1 loop. Wrap yarn around hook and pull through 2 loops and finish with one last wrap and pull through the last 2 loop. Continue until the desired amounts of stitches are completed.
