Yarn Bombing SG group is planning a yarn art installation involving 50 dolls in conjunction with SG50. I have been given the honour to design the doll pattern. Wawa Doll is a simple doll that allows for modifications. It serves as a tribute to multi-racial and cosmopolitan Singapore.

To complete a Wawa Doll, you’ll need:

• at least 3 different coloured yarn (skin colour, clothings, hair)
• a size 4.5mm crochet hook
• a tapestry needle
• plastic bags or fibrefill for stuffing
