Garter ridges decrease in length to create a simple linear design that reminds me of a weathervane.

Designed with men in mind, yet suitable for children, men and women alike.

Add a pom pom or some I-cord loops for ornamentation, or leave it as-is.

Sizing:
Baby size should fit a child under 1 year, as the finished hat stretches quite a bit. If you wish to make a slightly larger baby hat, you could increase your needle size.

Child size should fit a child from 1-5+ years.

If knitting for an older child, you could again increase your needle size on the Child size, or decrease your needle size on the Adult size for appropriate fit.
