This is the listing for the 2025 Advent. There are two yarn options - Miniballs (24x10g) or Kinross 4ply (12x20g) but the pattern is the same for both yarns. There are different colourways available so not everyone will be knitting with the same colour each day.

The motifs are more simple this year, it’s all about the flow of the colours. You will use each colour for two consecutive days only. So each day you’ll knit with today’s and yesterday’s colour.

You can cast on provisionally for a seamless join, or cast on normally and seam. The cowl can be a narrow 96sts or a wider cast on - if you want a long double loop you are better with a narrow cast on.

A 3.25mm 40cm circular is the best needle for this project but DPNs also work.
