Sizing
To fit a head measurement of 35cm/13.7”, approximately newborn size. This hat has negative ease built into the pattern, meaning the hat will be slightly smaller than the head size given.

Yarn Requirements
Any 8ply/DK weight yarn that you can achieve gauge with.

Gauge
Knit in the round using stranded stocking stitch, 22 stitches by 30 rows over 10cm/4”.

Needles and notions
This pattern is designed for 30cm length circular needles but you may choose to use any other small circumference method such as magic loop or DPN’s for the whole hat.

• 3.5mm 30cm/12” length circular needle
• 4mm 30cm/12” & 80cm/32” length circular needles (or size needed to get gauge plus one two sizes smaller)
• 1 stitch marker
• Darning needle
