EDIT: It has come to my attention that in the IK gift issue there is a shawl with a cast on of over 900 sts. So I think this one should absolutely be “cast on 1,000.” What was I thinking starting so small?!!!

This concept is for an approximately 7-foot-long scarf at 8 spi knitted sideways. The yarns overlap to create color fluctuations. The idea includes changing one yarn every time you want to give up, continuing to alternate with the other.
