What if you could combine weaving and knitting in the same project? Little woven patches are created in contrast color to look like darning of knit fabric. It makes me think of a well-worn and lovingly mended shawl. This is a crescent shawl that I have designed for assigned pooling yarn. A matching background colorway skein is used to avoid crowding assigned pooling placements. The result is a relaxing and engaging project where the yarn leads the way!
