Pattern Notes
This group of patterns is based on characters within the stories of the Mabinogi, the earliest non-lyrical stories of Britain. The motifs were chosen to represent an important aspect of the characters life stories. The palm motifs were inspired by designs on early, metal British artifacts.

These mittens are two color, knit in the round, with a picot cuff edge, a Latvian braid, and a gusseted thumb. These mittens were designed with two separate sides so that extra rows as well as stitches could be added for more length or width.
