This felted purse is great for a first time felting project. After knitting the bottom in garter stitch, the majority of the purse is knit in the round. Has an I-Cord strap. The pattern includes i-cord instructions. Also has knit instructions for pocket, to be attached after felting.

This design can be knit with any worsted wool or wool blend yarn that will felt.

After felting measurements:
Circumference (at widest point) = 22 – 23½”
Height of bag, with flap folded down = 6” – 7”
After felting measurements vary because of differences in individual felting processes.

This purse is named after my daughter, Wendy, because she was truly the inspiration for this design. She wanted a smaller purse than my other designs.
