Werewolf Hat and Mitts from the Sincerely Louise Mythical Winter 2016 - 2017

If you’re a fan of ‘An American Werewolf in London’, ‘Teenwolf’, ‘Van Helsing’ or were perhaps a Teenage Werewolf yourself, then this is the project for you!

This super chunky project can be knitted up in a couple of hours by an experienced knitter. The pattern is written flat as to make it accessible for beginners but the hat could easily be adapted to in the round on a 40cm cord or 80cm using the magic loop. The mittens could also be worked in the round but would need to be turned to create the thumb hole.

The yarn used Mythically Chunky, a collaborative project from Sincerely Louise and Cygnet Yarns. Mythically Chunky is the sister yarn of Seriously Chunky, knitted using a slightly tighter tension (as stated on the pattern listing and yarn itself). Each yarn in the Mythically Chunky range has been inspired by a magical creature, with this shade’s name appropriately named Werewolf.
