This chart is completely flexible, while the sample project is a washcloth, it’s easy to adjust for your project (add thicker or thinner stripes etc) and works with any weight of yarn.

I was inspired by M0mmacat’s gorgeous Crushy Crusher sweater to make my own version using a really simple sweater pattern, but the links to her chart no longer worked and I spent hours looking for charts for this design with no luck! I realised I could just make one, and figured that with all the attention her sweater got, plus all the gorgeous projects inspired by the iconic design, there were probably more people who would benefit!
